On July 29th 2006, managers and engineers of SESCO, a member of Vinashin Group visited HVS.
This is a special delegation because the leader is Mr. Do Thanh Hung – former 1st vice-president of HVS. The board of directors received the delegation. Southern Engineering and Shipbuilding Company used to be known as Shipping Industry Design Consultancy Company, a member of Vinashin. Presently, besides designing function, SESCO deploys to build new ship of 10,000 DWT.
Mr. Sung Woo Lee – the President - shared managing experience and successes that HVS has achieved last time. After working with BOD, HVS managers introduced about their departments as well as experience in management. The delegation was instructed to visit the shipyard and big projects such as PCTC, Tam Dao…
Visiting company this time, Mr. Do Thanh Hung said: “I have a sense of returning the old home where I used to work and attach with many happy memories”. He appreciated enthusiasm that the company reserved for SESCO. Hope that the relationship between HVS and SESCO will develop stably in the future.
