With effort and good cooperation between Painting and Support Department, the Shipyard successfully repaired and delivered Ambrosia to the Ship owner on August 2, 2006, 2 days ahead of schedule.
Main jobs of the project were cargo oil pipe outside coating, handrail steel part coating and coating of steel parts of ladders. So Painting and Support Department placed an important role in this project. From the beginning days of project execution, employees of the two Departments encouraged one another to try their best to complete the project well. Thanks to that, they could finish all stages of the project such as stage installation, blasting, coating, stage remove… half to one day ahead of schedule.
Being ahead of schedule help us gain prestige from customers and bring benefit to the Company thanks to time saving. Therefore, the BOD decided to reward all group participating in the project and two subcontractors Hanmitech and Plus Vietnam. Total reward amount was 111,850,000 VND, in which reward for Painting Department 49,000,000 VND, Support Department 45,450,000 VND, General Managers, managers, engineers and group leaders in charge of the project 17,400,000 VND.
