On March 06, 2023, in the morning, the Launching ceremony of Hull no. S509, 110K PC was carried out successfully with attendding of representatives of the Owner, Class and HVS. Up to now, S509 is the biggest product chemical tanker which was built at HVS. The length overall of this vessel is 249.97m, the breadth moulded is 42.4m and the depth moulded is 21.5m. Service speed at the draught of 14.75m and the normal condition to be about 14.1 knots. This is the first vessel in series of four vessels of Elandra project, British. After completion of onboard installation and inspection, the vessel will operate for Sea Trial in the end of May. Until the end of 2023, HVS will launch 3 vessels more with the same 110K PC series. This is the first large vessel built after HVS successfully installed the Goliath 700 tons. This marks a big turning point for the further development of an international shipbuilding company.
