As the second ISO surveillance plan, from 21~23/3/2007 BVQi carried out ISO surveillance at HVS.

In this time, BVQi checked and evaluated ISO system at Painting, Machinery, D/C, Sales, SRM, Q/C and G/A dep’t. The purpose of this surveillance was to control the procedure of job management of the company according to ISO standard.

As preliminary evaluation, HVS had some strong points such as setting up quality target and control by quarter, thus it was easy to check and control documents. A weak point was that managing documents by type had some shortcomings; some newly made report forms had not been updated in the system. Generally speaking, our management system met requirements of ISO standard.

This surveillance proved that our company had made great progress in quality management according to standard of ISO 9001-2000. This, one more time, affirmed that our company not only ensured but also maintained the international quality standard which would bring satisfaction to customer in the field of ship repair and conversion.
