FLORENCE IS REPAIRED AT HYUNDAI VINASHIN

On 13/04/2007, Florence vessel, the first vessel in a series of 53,000DWT-vessels built by Hạ Long shipyard that had problem when being launched, arrived at HVS for repair.
Florence has dead weight tonnage of 53,000DWT, 190m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 17.5m in depth, with capacity of 9,480KW, ordered by Graig Group, UK.
Florence will be repaired the damaged bottom with total amount of steel renewal of 30 tons within 11 days including 3 days in dry dock. This is the first time that a vessel built by Vinashin has to be repaired at HVS.
