On 26/11/2007, Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard granted scholarship to 9 students of Naval Architect & Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Nha Trang University. These students had good learning result and got TOEIC scores from over 400. There were 3 students with 400~445 scores of TOEIC being granted scholarship valued VND1.5 million, 4 students 450~495 scores granted scholarship valued VND2 million, 2 students over 500 scores granted scholarship valued VND 2.5 million. Total scholarship amount was VND17.5 million.

Previously, HVS sponsored VND 14 million for Nha Trang University to organize an English course for students of this Faculty. Since 2003, HVS has granted scholarship to Nha Trang University students yearly.
