Naming Ceremony of Hull No. S042- 56,000 DWT Bulk Carrier

On 15th November 2011, HVS officially celebrated Naming ceremony for Hull No. S042- the 56,000 DWT Bulk Carrier -, which is formally named “Arkadia†by Sponsor, Mrs. Leena Ruohonen.
Attending the ceremony, there were not only HVS BOD, representatives of Ship Owners, Class but also the BOD of ASPO Plc, Broker Banchero Costa and HMD – Mother shipyard of HVS.
The Hull No. S042 is the first in the series of the 2 vessels honorably contracted with ESL Shipping co., Ltd, Finland.
She has main particulars as follows:
Length (B.P): 189 m
Breadth: 32.26 m
Depth : 18.5 m
Speed: 14.5 knots
Number of cargo holds: 05
At the moment, HVS are trying utmost effort to finish the remaining works to be ready for delivery signing with Owner.
