In the morning of Feb-18, Mr. Lê Thanh Quang – Secretary of Khanh Hoa Communist Party visited Hyundai Vinashin shipyard (HVS) on occasion of Lunar New Year.
At the meeting, Mr. Cao Tuấn Dũng – Sn. Vice President of HVS reported business result, plan, labor and welfare policy for employees: in 2012, in spite of being seriously affected by crisis of shipbuilding market, HVS had tried its best to deliver 15 bulk carriers with capacity of 37,000 DWT to 82,000 DWT to foreign ship owners, reaching turnover of 430 million US dollars. This year, lacking of orders and jobs is HVS big problem. However, from Nov/2013, the situation will be better and HVS will operate with full capacity in 2014.
Mr. Lê Thanh Quang highly appreciated its effort in overcoming crisis, he wished all Leaders and employees a warm and happy new year, wished HVS could reach the business target and continuously contribute to develop Khanh Hoa province.
Previously, on Feb - 2, Mr. Nguyễn Chiến Thắng – Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee as well as Leaders of some Departments, Organizations and Ninh Hoa People’s Committee also visited and offered Certificate of Merit to HVS. On that occasion, Khanh Hoa Labor Federation had offered 20 set of gifts to poor workers of HVS.
