NAMING AND DELIVERY CEREMONIES FOR 56000 DWT BULK CARRIER WITH HULL NO. S051

In the morning of February 21 2013, Naming Ceremony of Hull No. S051 successfully took place at Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard (HVS).
At the ceremony, the vessel was honorably named “Capital†by HVS President’s spouse, Mrs. S. O. Kwon.
After the unveiling ceremony, the ceremonial horn-honking and a ship tour on board smoothly followed.
It is known that the delivery-related document was signed on the same day when the Naming Ceremony was held and right in that afternoon, the vessel will start her first voyage contributing to owner’s prosperity.
“Capital “ is the last in a series of 8 vessels built by Hyundai-Vinashin shipyard for Gedenlines , Turkey.
The vessel is 188m in length, 32.26m in width, 18.3m in depth. The maximum of cargo holds is 70700m3.
In spite of the difficulties during the construction due to the global economic crisis, we are very proud of ourselves for the delivering such kind of impressive and high -qualified vessels meeting Ship owners and Classes’ requirements. By that way, the Yard more and more assert its firm position and ability in the world shipbuilding market.
