STEEL CUTTING CEREMONY OF “HOEGH PCTC� CONVERSION PROJECT

Steel cutting ceremony
On 8/12/2007, the Steel Cutting Ceremony of “Hoegh PCTC” conversion project took place at HVS Cutting workshop. On the part of Hoegh Autoliners AS, there were Mr. Jan Rune Morken, V.President, and Mr. Svein Ausland, Superintendent. On the part of HVS, there were Mr. S.W. Lee, President, Mr. K.Y. Kim, V.President, Mr. S.H. Kang, Sales Director and G.MGR, MGR, engineers and workers in charge of the project.

Repersentatives of ship owner and HVS cut the band and operated the cutting machine to cut the first steel plate of the project. “Hoegh PCTC” is the project to convert a series of 10 car carriers of Hoegh Autoliners AS, Norway. Expectedly, this project will be completed by 2009. Each vessel will be converted within 45 days. The first vessel of the project M/V “Hoegh Detroit” will arrive at HVS on 29/02/2008.
