“Today HVS big family is glad to look after happiness of new couples” is the opening words for the collective wedding in the afternoon of 11-Mar-2006 at HVS guesthouse. The 4 couples are the employees of the shipyard including Mr. Tran Ba Nuong (Support Dep’t) – Ms. Hoang Thi Diep; Mr. Phan Huu Nhien (Hull Dep’t) – Ms. Trinh Thi Sam; Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh (Hull Dep’t) – Ms. Nguyen Thi Nam; Mr. Nguyen Trong Thuan (Hull Dep’t) – Ms. Le Thi Hong. The collective wedding took place solemnly and full of meaning in modern style and following Asian culture as well. That is to say all traditional formalities such as drinking wedding wine, giving wedding ring… were performed at the wedding. The brides & grooms were colorful in wedding dress and overwhelmed happiness in affection of HVS big family. Each couple was received one couple of wedding rings, and supported expenses for entertaining 60 guests. The BOD of the shipyard attended, gave wedding gifts and wished new couples everlasting happiness.
The collective wedding in HVS is a socio-cultural event showing the new lifestyle which was broadcasted on Khanh Hoa Television. This is also a typical sample of the shipyard’s consideration to the employees’ life & spirit, an example for enterprises in Khanh Hoa province as well as nationwide.
