APRIL MEETING
On the morning of 5-Apr-2006, the company organized the meeting on evaluating business production result in the 1st quarter 2006, concurrently deploying the detail plan for the next months to employees in the shipyard.

As usual, the company gave awards to excellent groups in the 1st quarter: the title of the best productivity group was given to Group # 2 of Hull Department. Group # 5 of Hull Dep’t won an award for the best quality Group. The title of good environment - health - safety management was belonged to Group # 1 of Painting Dep’t.

The President’s speech showed some achievements in the 1st quarter, concurrently highlighting difficulties that need overcoming in order to get high results in next months. Especially, President emphasized the task of developing HVS to create competitive advantages over Chinese shipyards; this task is to make shipbuilding industry the key industry and Vietnam become a powerful country in shipbuilding field in the world from now to 2010.

The meeting was closed with the appeal to all of employees to work safely & effectively, trying their best for HVS development and the employees’ happiness in the future.
