With the purpose of improving drawing reading skill and knowledge of block erection procedure, HVS Training Center is organizing courses to teach drawing reading skill and block erection technique for 316 team leaders and workers of Marking group of Hull Dept. This training program started from February 1, 2006 to May 12, 2006 including 14 courses. In the 3-day-course, the trainees were taught how to read drawing, design on hard paper, cut and erect blocks. After the course, most of trainees can understand drawing and erect blocks.
These courses were opened to meet the demand of multi-skill and professional skill improvement for workers of Hull Dept while the Shipyard is receiving more and more conversion projects.
