After anchored at the Quay #2 for repair jobs such as painting of drilling tower, legs, hull, power swivel, motor overhaul, lifeboat repair… at 17:00 on May 11, 2006 J/U Tam Dao_01 was dry docked for 2nd stage of repair at the Shipyard. Repair items of J/U Tam Dao _01 during 1 month in the dry dock include steel renewal, painting of legs, hull bottom, living quarter, spud can, void tanks, air-conditioner renewal, and repair of pipes in accommodation… Expectedly, she shall be moved to the Quay #2 for 3rd stage of repair on May 10, 2006. As scheduled, she will be repaired at the shipyard within 180 days (starting from April 3, 2006) including 60 days in dry dock.
