ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION CAMPAIGN

On the afternoon of May 5, 2023, HVS launched the campaign “Protecting the Environment” to contribute to the movement to keep the working environment green, clean, and beautiful.

The campaign has the participation of all G. MGRs and G/Ls with HVS’s BODs together, collecting garbage in the area along the beach in front of HVS’s main gate.

Speeching at the campaign, Mr. Lee Jong Chan – President of HVS highly appreciated this practical and meaningful activity; at the same time, he called all employees to raise their awareness of environment protection, actively maintain hygiene at the place of residence and work, do not throw garbage indiscriminately, act together for a green and clean beach.

Vietnam is currently ranked fourth in the world in marine garbage pollution. Every year, there are about 70% of waste dumped into the sea comes from land. Marine environmental pollution in our country is constantly increasing, affecting health and the economy – society, causing people to face many risks. So, cleaning the beach is not only the responsibility of departments, units, and localities but also needs the cooperation of everyone.
