On August 21, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan – Chairman of Khanh Hoa People's Committee welcomed Mr. Kim Hyung Kwan – President of HMD (Korea), and the delegation HVS.

       At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan highly appreciated the relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Korea in general, Khanh Hoa and Ulsan in particular, culminating in the success of HVS. During production and business activities in Khanh Hoa, HVS has been affirmed to be the leading shipbuilding in Vietnam as well as in the region with high efficiency and quality.

Besides, HVS has also paid attention and has many policies to conditions for employees to work, improve life quality, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa.

Mr. Tuan hopes that in the coming time, HVS will continue to expand production and business and a bridge for Korean enterprises to research and invest in Khanh Hoa.   In the coming time, with the completion of the expressway Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot highway project will open the connection of the Central Highlands provinces and Cambodia with the northern Van Phong area. This will be a favorable condition for HVS to expand the factory. Mr. Tuan affirmed that the government will always accompany HVS, ready to all conditions for HVS to stabilize production and expand business.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kim Hyung Kwan thanked Khanh Hoa PC’s leader for their interest and for creating favorable conditions for HVS to operate in the locality during the past time; HVS’s success has a huge local contribution.

Mr. Kim said that he is considering expanding the scale of shipbuilding in Vietnam; sending many workers of HVS to study in Korea to improve their skills and increase their income. He promised to connect Korean enterprises to research and invest in Khanh Hoa, thereby contributing to developing Khanh Hoa’s economy in the future.
