In the first 6 months of 2007, HVS has repaired more than 50 vessels mainly from Japan and Greece with turnover of about USD65 million, making up 42% of 2007 plan. Some big projects of the first half are repair of 2 crane vessels of Vietsovpetro, double hull conversion of MT Olympic Flair, elongation conversion of car carriers of Wallenius Lines…

In the next 6 months, the shipyard will carry out many big projects such as repair of MV “Tzini”, 2 LNG vessels, elongation conversion of car carriers of Eukor… Besides, the shipyard is negotiating with some domestic and overseas ship owners to sign more contracts in order to achieve business target in 2007.
