In the afternoon of Oct 14th 2011, HVS has solemnly celebrated the sport festival on HVS 15th foundation anniversary (16/10/1999 ~ 16/10/2011). All employees had chances to take part in many sportive games such as: football, volleyball, marathon racing, mini football, couple running and lottery with many valuable prizes. Giving the opening speech, Mr. Song Cheol Won – HVS President highly appreciated employees’ outstanding efforts and contribution to the company so far. After reviewing the 15-year-establishment with variety great successes, he also did not forget to stress that we are still facing with many challenges because of increasing production quantity. Therefore, we have to do our best to overcome these difficulties. The President said that: “I believe we can overcome this stage. After that we would approach one more step to the world best shipyard. A bright future is waiting us ahead.”
After 15 years of history and 12 year-official-operation, HVS had repaired and converted 950 vessels of worldwide customers and we are reaching the point of USD 500 million turnover in this year. Up to now, we have successfully delivered 14 high quality vessels with the capacity of 37,000 DWT and 56,000 DWT for the ship owners from Germany, Denmark, and Korea; and currently, we are building about 29 vessels in the order book up to 2013.
